gallium scan preparation and instructions

* No special preparation is required

You will be scheduled at MD Imaging for an injection of a small amount of radioactive material. There are no side effects from this injection.

After the injection, you will then be scheduled to return to MD Imaging to have the gallium scan at 24 hours, 48 hours, and possibly 72 hours.
